We welcome riders of all experience levels to enjoy a fun day of horse showing at Chester Riding Club!

Please check into the office upon arrival. Payment due by end of the day.

Show Attire:

12 years of age and under:

  • Tan jodhpurs

  • Paddock boots (brown or black)

  • Leather garters (color to match paddock boots)

  • White show shirt

  • Belt (color to match paddock boots)

  • Black gloves

  • Show coat (dark color)

  • Black helmet

  • Spurs if necessary

  • Short black crop if necessary

  • For girls - two show bows to wear in braids

13 years of age and older:

  • Tan breeches

  • Show shirt (hunters/equitation: white; jumpers: any color)

  • Show coat (any color)

  • Black tall boots or paddock boots with half chaps

  • Black gloves

  • Black belt

  • Black helmet

  • Spurs if necessary

  • Short black crop if necessary

  • For hunters/equitation: hairnet to match color of hair

Show attire is encouraged but not mandatory. Lack of show attire should not discourage riders from participating.

Chester Riding Club attends hunter, equitation, and show jumping competitions from the local through national and international level.
